Okay, maybe “world tour” is stretching it a little. But, A Caring Closet is celebrating its 10th anniversary, and what a decade it has been!

What began 10 years ago in Sara’s and Jodie’s garages has grown into a community effort that helped more than 18,000 people in 2025, providing more than $2.1M in equipment—always free of charge because everyone deserves access to the equipment they need.

This year, our wonderful volunteers, donors, supporters, and friends have been getting some well-deserved recognition, too. Here are a few recent highlights:

• 2026 Senior Heroes Awards – “Best Nonprofit Senior Focused Organization”
• Rotary Greater Clark County 2026 Nonprofit Service Award
• $50,000 grant from the Cowlitz Tribal Foundation
• 2026 Best of Clark County nominee for Nonprofit Organizations
• A visit to KATU’s AM Northwest for a little time in the spotlight
